Some time ago a friend and I were conversing about some old school Artist and groups that we loved back in the day and still do. After going over many musical legends we both realized we did not know if they were dead, alive or still performing. So, I said to myself if I feel this way, I am sure there are many other people that have been put in the same situation as my friend and me.
This is how I had come up with creating this blog. I felt it would be thought-provoking to create a blog that would talk about old school and touch on some Jazz as well as build it up to where it is today! So I thought it would be interesting to come up with some great Artist that we may have forgotten about, but who are still very much alive and performing today.
Here is a list of some old school musicians, artist, and groups who are still touring. You may say to yourself “Wow” I didn’t know they were still performing or you may have wondered “whatever happened to them.
