Lisa Fischer is a multi-talented dynamic artist, she’s worked with music legends like Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Bobby McFerrin, George Benson, Diana Ross, Laurie Anderson, Teddy Pendergrass, Dionne Warwick, Grover Washington, Billy Ocean, Melba Moore, Al Jarreau, Patti LaBelle, and many other major recording artists. Lisa’s range and pitch are very phenomenal. She has the ability to reach the hearts of her fans. Her musical resume is dynamic, having worked for 26 years with the “Rolling Stones”, Mick Jagger always said, “it’s always a high point in the show for me when Lisa graces the stage”.

While, Keith Richards applaud’s Lisa’s “amazing power, energy, and projection.” We all as fans will agree that Lisa puts so much spirit, enthusiasm, and power into her performances.

“The unexpected success of the Oscar-winning documentary Twenty Feet from Stardom (2013) altered the course of Lisa’s musical journey. The film told her story, complete with clips of her 1991 Grammy-winning R&B hit “How Can I Ease The Pain,” live footage of her legendary duets with Mick Jagger on “Gimme Shelter,” and glowing testimonials from famous colleagues like Sting, Patti Austin, and Chris Botti. Belinda is the Founder of BackBeat R&B, an R&B, Jazz, and Lifestyle online publication. Her passion for old school music reverts back to when she was very young. She thanks her Dad because he always loved music and loved to dance. She had the pleasure of interviewing greats like Chi-Lites Marshall Thompson, Manhattans Gerald Alston, Dramatics LJ Reynolds, and Klymaxx's Joyce Fenderella Irby just to name a few. Belinda entertained the idea of blogging for her own personal enrichment after retirement from City and County Social Services.
