Philadelphia’s Trammps turned up the heat at the Suffolk Theater in Riverhead, NY on July 13, 2017. The “Trammps” were at the peak of their career in 1977 when their Atlantic sound track “Disco Inferno” became the hottest selling Disco song on the planet and was inducted into the Dance Hall of Fame in 2005. The group was recognized as the best performing group by one of New York’s most popular clubs. “Disco Inferno had become the music industries biggest selling album to date and won the Trammps a Grammy Award in 1979”.
The song, “Disco Inferno” has been on the sound track for a lot of movies such as “Saturday Night Fever”,”Donnie Brasco”, “Ghost Busters”, “What’s Love Got To Do With It” and a host of others. The Trammps were one of the first Disco bands in the 70’s. Today, they continue to tour all over the world and are so welcomed by their fans. We at Backbeatrnb wish to thank them for sharing their voices with the world.
